SETTING SAIL ON A NEW ERA

In 2018 we invited people to “Stray the Course” and to start to think about a better way to cruise as we built our ships.

In 2019 we invited people to “Set Sail the Virgin Way” and just as we were about to get started… well… we all know what happened.

Fast forward to now. We’ve reached a milestone of having “Set Sail the Virgin Way” for over a year. We have two ships sailing on the oceans blue. Tens of thousands of people have joined us onboard. We have incredible reviews and are winning awards for our experience. But we have big goals to achieve and ships to fill with sailors who deserve a vacation unlike any other.

So it’s time to evolve our brand to reflect the world as it exists today, how we speak to the Sailors who we we need to reach, and how we position the brand for success in the world of tomorrow.

We want to break through our travel category through messaging that can easily live and breathe across every place it appears and addresses the specific needs of our audience –
when, where, how, and why. 

We want to drive active consideration of this brand, not just awareness. When people know why we are a great choice, they are one step closer to making the decision to sail with us. We want to elevate ourselves and not lose sight of being a premium option. We are committed to making ordinary extraordinary.

We sell dreams and memories.

We want more emotion.

We want to give people goosebumps.

We are ready for the next chapter of our story.

It is a direct reflection of the stories our Sailors and Crew are telling us about the Voyages they have already taken with us. We started there… and then let them tell us where to go next.
